Take the ritual bath on a favorable day. Ruling Orixás of this plant: Oxalá, Iemanjá (Yemoja), Oxóssi (Oshosi), Logunedé (Logun Ede).
Smoke cleansing: dry rosemary branches for 1 week. Light the tip, extinguish the flame and let it smoke. Walk through each room in a clockwise direction, from the back of the house to the street door.
Keep your thoughts elevated and speak to the plant during the entire handling, asking it to awaken its virtues.
Strain the herbs gently and take the ritual bath from the neck down after your usual hygiene.
Return the strained leaves to a garden, flowerbed, or plant pot, thanking the axé of Ossaim (Osanyin).
