Read articleThe Spiritist doctrine of Allan Kardec study, charity and communication with spirits as pillars of a life of moral and spiritual evolution.
Spiritism is a philosophical, scientific and religious doctrine systematized by the French educator Hippolyte Léon Denizard Rivail, known by the pseudonym Allan Kardec, in the 19th century. His main work, The Spirits' Book (1857), establishes the fundamental principles of the doctrine.
Spiritism is based on three pillars: science (rational study of spiritual phenomena), philosophy (moral and ethical reflection) and religion (the practice of charity and love for one's neighbor). It is common to say that Spiritism is not just a religion, but a way of seeing the world.
In Brazil, Spiritism found fertile ground and today the country is the largest Spiritist center in the world in number of practitioners.

In the daily life of Spiritist centers, faith translates into practice. The session gathers participants around the study of the Gospel, prayer and concentration, in an environment of respect and fraternity. The goal is always moral improvement and helping others, whether incarnate or disincarnate.
The spiritual pass is a transmission of beneficial energies, applied by the passista medium as a resource for balance and spiritual comfort, always free, as the doctrine teaches that charity is not charged. The fluidified water and the edifying reading complete this work of assistance.
Study is the heart of Spiritism: groups meet weekly to deepen the works of Kardec and Spiritist authors. To follow this path, Joia Mística Laroyê offers books, candles and harmonization items that support prayer and seclusion, in Extrema, Minas Gerais and throughout Brazil.
