1. Who is responsible for your data
The site joiamisticalaroye.com.br is maintained by Joia Mística Laroyê, registered under CNPJ 66.624.091/0001-44, with an address at R. Benedito Zingari, 460 - Bela Vista, Extrema - MG, CEP 37642-130.
For the General Data Protection Law (Law 13.709/2018), we are the controller of the data processed here. For any request relative to this policy, write to contato@joiamisticalaroye.com.br, speak via WhatsApp +55-35-99156-5228 or go personally to the address above.
2. The principle we follow
This site does not ask for registration, does not create an account, and does not have a login. No page requires you to provide a name, email, CPF, or phone number to read the content or use the tests and oracles. The only exception is the Virtual Candle, which is paid for by PIX and is described in item 3.3. What exists of collection is described below, item by item.
3. Data that this site processes
3.1. Navigation data (audience measurement)
We measure the site's audience to understand which subjects interest those who read us and to correct functional problems. We do not use this data to identify you individually and we do not install Google measurement tools.
For this, we use Rybbit, an open-source audience analysis tool that we run on our own server. It does not record cookies in your browser. It records the page visited, the source of the visit, the language, technical device data, clicks on buttons and links, and the use of forms. It also performs session recording: a reproduction of how the page was used (scrolling, clicks, and cursor movement), which serves to find usability problems. None of this is crossed with your name nor forms a profile of an identified person.
3.2. Advertising
This site displays ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and identifiers to display, measure, and protect ads (including against fraud).
In the cookie notice, you choose. If you accept, ads may be personalized based on your visits to this and other sites. If you refuse or do not choose, we request non-personalized ads, but Google may still record technical cookies, for example, to limit how many times the same ad appears.
You can also disable personalized Google advertising at myadcenter.google.com. To disable the use of cookies by other providers, see aboutads.info/choices.
3.3. Virtual Candle and Community Altar
Lighting a virtual candle is a paid service (from R$ 0,50 to R$ 1,00), via PIX. To light it, the site sends to our server: the candle and type chosen, the name you type (optional; can be "In Secret"), the request or prayer (optional, up to 400 characters), if you want the candle on the community altar and an anonymous identifier from your device, which we use to prevent fraud. The server is a function hosted on Supabase.
This data is stored on our server to display your candle and
confirm the payment. Each candle has a secret link: whoever has the link
can see the candle. Your browser saves the links of the candles you lit in the
local storage (localStorage), so you can find them again. If you
clear your browser data, save the link.
The community altar only shows your candle if you check this option, and then only the name and color appear; the request is not displayed. The payment is processed by Mercado Pago, which receives your payment data and, when generating the PIX, a device identifier for fraud prevention, according to its policy. We do not have access to your bank account data.
Since the request or prayer may contain sensitive data (health, religious conviction, family situation), we recommend that you do not write anything you do not want to see stored. You can request the deletion of your candle through the channels in item 7.
3.4. Oracles and tests of the site
The discovery pages for Orixá, spirit, ruling Exu (Eshu) and indicated ritual bath work entirely in your browser. The answers you mark are not sent nor stored by us.

By clicking on our WhatsApp, Instagram or Google Maps links, you leave here and will be governed by the privacy policy of that service.
4. Cookies
This site does not record its own cookies. The cookies that appear come from Google, because of the ads (item 3.2). Your preferences stay in the browser's local storage, and not in cookies: the light or dark theme, the links of the candles you lit and the choice you make in the cookie notice. Google also records ad settings there.
Upon entering the site pages (except for the home page), we show a notice with the buttons "Refuse" and "Accept", of the same size. You can change your choice at any time in "Manage cookies", in the footer of any page, including the home page.
Every browser allows blocking or deleting cookies in the privacy settings. If you block everything, the site remains readable, but parts of it may behave in an unexpected way.
5. Legal basis for processing
- Consent (art. 7, I of the LGPD): personalized advertising, when you accept the cookie notice, and the display of your candle on the community altar.
- Execution of contract (art. 7, V): the Virtual Candle and payment data, necessary to light the candle you requested.
- Legitimate interest (art. 7, IX): audience measurement, technical access records, site security, and fraud and abuse prevention.
- Compliance with legal obligation (art. 7, II): keeping access records required by the Marco Civil da Internet.
6. How long we keep the data
Access records are kept for the period required by the Marco Civil da Internet (Law 12,965/2014). Measurement data follow the retention configured in Rybbit. Virtual Candle data remain recorded as long as the candle exists or until you request deletion, and payment records are kept for the period required by law. The cookie notice choice and the links to your candles remain in your browser until you clear it.
7. Your rights
Article 18 of the LGPD guarantees you the right to request, at any time:
- confirmation that your data is being processed;
- access to data;
- correction of incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data;
- anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary data or data processed unlawfully;
- portability to another provider;
- deletion of data processed based on your consent;
- information on whom we share your data with;
- revocation of consent.
To exercise any of them, write to contato@joiamisticalaroye.com.br or via WhatsApp +55-35-99156-5228. We respond within 15 days. If you are not satisfied, you can file a complaint with the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
8. Children and adolescents
This site is not aimed at minors under 18 years old and does not consciously collect data from children and adolescents. If you are a guardian and believe a minor under your care provided us with data, contact us so they can be deleted.
9. Security
The site is served entirely over HTTPS. We adopt reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect the data under our control. No system connected to the internet is completely immune, and therefore we do not promise absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
We may revise this text when the site changes or when the law requires it. The date at the top of the page indicates the last revision. Relevant changes will be signaled on the home page.
