Psalm 150
- Praise the Lord in his sanctuary, praise him in his majestic firmament.
- Praise him for the greatness of his works, praise him for his infinite majesty.
- Praise him to the sound of the trumpet, praise him to the sound of the lyre and the harp.
- Praise him with the timbrel and with the dance, praise him to the sound of the harp and the flute.
- Praise him with resounding cymbals, praise him with booming cymbals. Let everything that breathes praise the Lord.
Glory to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and forever. Amen.

The prayer to begin the ritual work follows: Infuse, Lord, your grace into our actions.
Grant us, Lord, the grace to extinguish the burning of vices, you who granted to the blessed Lawrence the virtue of overcoming the fire of martyrdom. By Our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, in the unity of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
