Prayer for the moment of death

It is short so it can be prayed beside someone who is departing, or by the person themselves. It entrusts the soul to Jesus, Mary, and Joseph.

Lord, my God, of my own free will I already accept, as coming from your hands, any kind of death that you wish to send me, with all its anguishes, sorrows and pains.

V. Beloved Jesus, Joseph and Mary,

R. I give you my heart and my soul.

V. Beloved Jesus, Joseph and Mary,

R. assist me in the final agony.

V. Beloved Jesus, Joseph and Mary,

R. let my soul expire in peace among you.
