You, the divine Comforter, are a gift from the Most High God, living source, fire, charity, and spiritual unction.
With your seven gifts, you are the strength of the hand of God, the solemn promise of the Father, inspiring our words.
Illuminate the senses, instill love in the hearts, support our weakened flesh in constant virtue.
Put away the enemy, give us peace without delay; and thus, guided by you, we will avoid all evil.
May we know the Father through you, and know also the Son; and in you, Spirit of both, may we believe at all times.
Glory be given to God the Father, and to the Son who rose, and to the Comforter, for all centuries. Amen.
