Prayer to Saint Josemaria Escrivá

Saint Josemaria taught that common work is a path to holiness. The prayer asks that every moment of the day becomes an occasion to love God, and ends with a request for a grace.

O God, who through the mediation of the Blessed Virgin granted countless graces to Saint Josemaria, priest, choosing him as a most faithful instrument to found Opus Dei, a path of sanctification in professional work and in the fulfillment of the daily duties of the Christian, make me also know how to convert all moments and circumstances of my life into an occasion to love you and to serve with joy and simplicity the Church, the Roman Pontiff and the souls, illuminating the paths of the earth with the light of faith and love.

Grant me, through the intercession of Saint Josemaria, the favor that I ask you... (state your prayer request here). Amen.

Then pray one Our Father, one Hail Mary and one Glory Be.
